At tenpencepiece.net, I recognise that privacy of your personal information is important. Here is information on the types of personal information I receive and collect when you use and visit tenpencepiece.net, and how I safeguard that information.  I do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Comment Policy

All comments are moderated before being displayed on the site. I reserve the right to decline to publish a comment or edit it before publication. If you subsequently wish to withdraw a comment then please add a new comment to the post or page on which your original comment appeared. I will remove the original comment and the comment requesting withdrawal as soon as practicably possible.

Although an email address is requested when a comment is submitted for moderation, these are never published.

Log Files

As  most other websites, I collect and use the data contained in web server log files.  The information in the log files include  your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider), the browser you used to visit the site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited the site and which pages you visited.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Third party advertisements are occasionally used on tenpencepiece.net to support the site.  Some of these advertisers may use technology inlcuding cookies and web beacons when they advertise on the site, which will also send these advertisers (for example, eBuzzing) information including your IP address, your ISP, the web browser you used to visit the site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed.
