I recognise that privacy of your personal information is important. Here is information on the types of personal information I receive and collect when you use and visit this site and how I safeguard that information. I do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Comment Policy

Comments are welcome on this blog. Please keep them on-topic and respectful to others. I reserve the right not to publish comments for any reason, but in the eight of so years this blog has been running, I’ve published more than 99% of them (spam excepted, obviously). You can also tweet to me or comment on my Facebook page if you’d prefer to.

Log Files

In common with the vast majority of websites, I collect and use the data contained in web server log files.  The information in the log files include  your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider), the browser you used to visit the site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited the site and which pages you visited.

Cookies and Web Beacons

This site currently uses statcounter to provide me with statistical information about your visit. Cookies are used by this service to enable this to take place.

You can choose to disable or selectively turn off cookies from this site or third-party cookies in your browser settings, or by managing your preferences in internet security programs.  This is unlikely to affect how you are able to interact with this site.
